Festive Sparkle & Blackpool Illuminations
29th Nov - 2nd Dec

Blackpool is a must see and on everyone's bucket list. The Illuminations date back to 1879 and attract millions of visitors each year, as well as the famous Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach.

One free day is never enough with all this exuberant town has to offer. Take a ride on The Big Wheel and see Blackpool from the air, or ride up the lift in the Tower and admire the view. The Grand Ballroom is a great place for a coffee while you watch the ballroom dancers, or have a go yourself! Make sure you have time to enjoy your included lunch in the hotel before heading back out to explore.

We will have an excursion to Lytham and Southport, worlds apart from the bright lights of Blackpool in both character and atmosphere. The seaside towns are in a picturesque stretch of coastline, complete with Victorian pier, historic windmill and stylish independent shops. Southport is a classic English resort and has of the oldest piers in the UK. One of it's most famous sights is Lord Street, a Victorian canopied boulevard that has been a shopping destination for over a century.

We will also have a tour of The Illuminations. With its miles of lights and figurines, fantastic moving scenes and illuminated trams, it is a joy to behold.
